Built by a noted Chicago architect in 1925, this Georgian Revival home was designed to respect the formality and discipline of the decade. Denise Macey remodeled the house to fit the less formal style of the new millennium and the residents’ casual lifestyle. Window treatments were minimized to allow for much needed natural light and a warm neutral color scheme was incorporated throughout the house to showcase the owner’s contemporary art collection.
