Denise Macey Design begins each project with an initial consultation to determine specific goals and requirements. Through a mutual, informal interview process, we ask questions and listen to your design needs, familiarize you with our general design process and philosophy, and ascertain your expectations of us.

Once we have reached an agreement on your basic requirements, general timeline, and initial budget, we will take a more detailed look into your needs and your space. We take measurements, consider preliminary color schemes, and discuss which furniture pieces to work with and which to replace.

We then develop a preliminary design concept to best suit you and your family's lifestyle. Schematic drawings of furniture plans will result from these meetings. We offer selections for furniture, fabric, wall and floor coverings, for each room under consideration. Samples are provided for your approval.

We also consult with your Architect and Contractor as necessary for the successful execution of a workable, cohesive interior design. Denise Macey Design helps you make informed decisions from a vast number of resources. We provide on-site assistance with installations and furniture placement after delivery.
